Privilege can be a tricky subject for anyone to discuss. Using very tangible examples of privilege, like being invited to special ceremonies purely based on skin tone, this conversation will engage the participants to carefully consider their own privilege.
Jason will also discuss how the impact of being a minority occurs within context; you must account for power and privilege. The experience of being unique in a village can be informative and valuable, but must be taken in context.
